Ideal & Inspiration

Shri Hanuman is a great devotee who lived only for Seva. And His Seva was fully imbued with his constant divine remembrance and motiveless divine love. In him we find a harmonious blend of ardent devotion and dedicated Seva. He is our ideal and inspiration in all our humble services we render to society. In fact, our service to society is verily a service unto the Divine in multifarious names and forms.

This picture of Shri Hanuman is highly relevant and has a great symbolic significance. An ardent devotee of the Lord and Sevak that he is, Hanuman Sri effectively conveys an important, universal message, badly needed today.

Behold! Hanuman is joyously revealing His divinity within, reminding us thereby of our own essential divine nature which we too can realize and manifest in our day-to-day life, by dint of our dedicated ‘ Seva’ — our loving care and concern for others, coupled with constant remembrance of that divinity ever present in us as well as in those whom we serve.

In the words of Swami Dayananda Saraswati, a renowned Vedantic scholar of depth, who is also totally devoted to the Seva of God in Man: “ Seva, a Sanskrit word, means service, along with deep, heartfelt caring”. Further, “ Seva is service in the deepest sense of caring; care that promotes self-sufficiency and maintains the dignity of those who are served”.

Inspired by Shri Veera Maruthi, a shining example of deep devotion and dedicated Seva, Shri Veera Maruthi Seva Trust, is totally devoted to Spiritual and Seva activities, laying equal emphasis on both.
